Quicklook Chat, a product of Quicklook LLC
AI Use Agreement
Effective October 30, 2026
This AI Use Agreement is a contract between you and Quicklook LLC for Quicklook Chat. It is part of the Terms of Service. It is the agreement about an assistant speaking to visitors on a website you connect. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not install the widget.
1. This agreement
“You” means the person who accepts and the business that person represents. People you invite are your responsibility, and their use is use by you. Quicklook LLC is a Washington company. The Beaverton address below is a mailing address.
This agreement, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy are one contract for Quicklook Chat. The Terms cover the account, fees, the service, and the rest of the relationship. This agreement is more specific about the assistant on your website. Where it is more specific about that subject, it controls. It does not change the fees or the liability cap in the Terms. Disputes follow the Washington law, courts, individual-claim, and jury-waiver terms in the Terms of Service.
A signed agreement that says it controls over these terms will control for the subject it covers. This page is the agreement for self-serve use of the assistant on a website.
2. What you are putting on your website
Quicklook Chat lets you connect a public website and install a chat widget. The assistant answers visitors on that site from short notes about the site and from live reads of pages you told us we may read. Staff can read conversations, pause the assistant, and reply themselves.
The assistant is software. It is not your employee, a licensed professional, or an agent that can bind you or us. An answer is not an offer, a quote, a price guarantee, a financing decision, a warranty, or a contract unless a person at your business confirms it.
You decide to place that software where your visitors will see it and talk to it. We provide and operate the software. We are not the merchant, the employer, or the other party to a sale, appointment, or other deal a visitor thinks the assistant made.
3. The assistant can be wrong
THE ASSISTANT CAN GIVE AN ANSWER THAT IS INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OUT OF DATE, OFFENSIVE, OR NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE. THAT INCLUDES A WRONG PRICE, AVAILABILITY, HOUR, SPECIFICATION, POLICY, OR PROMISE. A VISITOR MAY RELY ON IT ANYWAY. YOU ACCEPT THAT RISK WHEN YOU CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND WHEN YOU INSTALL OR KEEP THE WIDGET.
Without limiting that, the assistant can:
- State a fact that is not on your website, or misstate one that is.
- Describe your current offerings from a read that missed a page, a filter, or a change on the site.
- Say something a visitor treats as a binding offer, a discount, or a promise you did not make.
- Fail to hand the conversation to a person.
- Say something offensive, misleading, or that you would not say yourself.
The product has limits. The widget says the assistant is AI and that AI can make mistakes. A study reads the homepage and a bounded set of other public pages and does not store your catalog. Answers about what you currently offer are read from your site at the time of the question. You can pause the assistant, and a person on your team can reply. We may stop a use that creates legal, security, or safety risk.
THOSE LIMITS REDUCE HOW OFTEN AN ANSWER IS WRONG. THEY DO NOT MAKE A WRONG, INCOMPLETE, OR OFFENSIVE ANSWER IMPOSSIBLE, AND THEY DO NOT STOP A VISITOR FROM TREATING AN ANSWER AS A PROMISE.
4. You are responsible
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSISTANT ON YOUR WEBSITE. YOU WILL SUPERVISE IT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO YOUR VISITORS FOR WHAT IT SAYS THERE, INCLUDING AN ANSWER YOU DID NOT WRITE AND DID NOT EXPECT.
If you connect a website or install or keep the widget, you represent that:
- You control that website, or you have permission to install the widget and to let us read its public pages.
- You will not hide, remove, or contradict the notice in the widget that the assistant is AI and that AI can make mistakes.
- You will tell your visitors, in your own privacy notice, that the chat uses AI and that a service provider processes the chat.
- You will give visitors any other notice the law requires where they live.
- You are responsible for the instructions, goals, tone, and site-skill edits you save.
- You will review conversations and pause or correct the assistant when an answer is wrong, and you will have a person reply when a visitor needs one.
- You will not tell a visitor that a person is speaking when the assistant is speaking, or that an answer is a confirmed offer.
- You will not configure the assistant to make a binding offer, a guaranteed price, a financing decision, or a warranty.
- You will not use an answer as the sole basis for a medical, legal, financial, credit, insurance, employment, housing, or other decision that the law treats as consequential.
- You will not offer the assistant as an emergency-response system.
- You are responsible for conversations your staff read or reply to, and for how you use leads.
5. Claims about the chat on your website
If a visitor, customer, regulator, or anyone else brings a claim about the chat on your website — including a wrong price or other fact, a missed disclosure, reliance on an answer, a statement the person found offensive or discriminatory, a privacy complaint about that chat, or a deal the assistant appeared to make — you are the business that has to answer for that chat.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quicklook LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your website, your configuration of the assistant, a visitor’s or consumer’s claim about the chat on your site, your use of leads, your content, or your breach of this agreement, the Terms of Service, or the law. This is the same duty as section 14 of the Terms, not a second one.
We will give you notice when it is practical. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by us or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent. We may join in the defense with counsel of our own choice at our own expense. This duty does not shift a liability that the law does not allow a contract to shift.
6. No warranty and the limit on our liability
THE SERVICE, THE SOFTWARE, AND ALL AI OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” QUICKLOOK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE ASSISTANT HAS READ YOUR WHOLE WEBSITE, THAT AN ANSWER MATCHES YOUR PAGES, THAT AN ANSWER IS LAWFUL IN EVERY PLACE A VISITOR LIVES, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL PRODUCE LEADS OR SALES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKLOOK AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, COVER, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS, INCLUDING FROM AN AI ANSWER THAT IS WRONG, A VISITOR WHO RELIED ON IT, A MISSED OR LOST LEAD, OR A WEBSITE THAT COULD NOT BE READ, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. IF YOU PAID NOTHING, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
These are the same limits as sections 12 and 13 of the Terms of Service. They are stated again here so they are conspicuous when you agree to put the assistant on a website. They do not limit a liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies. They do not limit your duty to pay fees or your duty to indemnify us. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers or caps. In those places, they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
7. We may turn the assistant off
We may suspend or end the widget, a study, or the account if you do not pay, if you break this agreement or the Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if continuing would create a security or safety risk. Turning the assistant off is not an admission that an answer was wrong or that we are responsible for it. We will say why when it is reasonable and lawful.
8. How you accept
Creating an account requires a checkbox. That checkbox is how you agree to this agreement, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. The versions you accepted are stored with the account. The version is chosen by our server. You must be at least 18 and able to agree for the business.
Installing the widget, or leaving it installed, confirms this agreement. If you already have an account, continued use after the effective date at the top of this page is acceptance. We do not block an existing account that accepted an earlier version of the Terms. If you do not agree to this version, cancel and remove the widget before you keep using the service.

What this agreement does not do
It does not promise that the assistant will be accurate. It does not make an answer an offer by you or by us. It does not replace the notice you give your own visitors. It does not remove a responsibility the law does not allow a contract to remove. It does not give you ownership of the software. It is not a review by your lawyer of your website, your industry’s rules, or the notices your visitors must receive.
